微軟新推出的溝通軟體「Vine」
溝通無疆界、只要屬於自己在意的訊息都不漏接！
微軟推出一款全新介面的溝通軟體Vine﹝尚屬於beta版﹞，不像以往MSN、Yahoo messenger、Google talk、Skype等聊天軟體，而微軟推出的新軟體有什麼特色呢？有點類似社區廣播，不過範圍可以更大，可以在地圖上選定區域並呈現在地圖上，把自己關心的人加入群組，可以隨時隨地透過該軟體傳遞訊息，而可以用簡訊方式告知、email方式告知當然也可以用該軟體直接傳達訊息給別人，可以傳達訊息給別人當然也可以接收自己設定的訊息種類給自己知道，也會在地圖上顯示何處有訊息。政府機關有什麼訊息也可透過此軟體傳達，比如該區的公共安全訊息、警察局的相關安全訊息、該區新聞等。把以往的聊天軟體更加擴大使用功能，讓人與人溝通更加快速方便。可以是政府和人民間、公司主管和部屬間，球隊教練和球員間，家人和親戚間，鄰居和鄰居間訊息傳達用。讓溝通更多樣化、更迅速！

Get started by downloading the software and signing in with Windows Live ID.

Select one of your places to zoom in on the map.

When there's a news story or public safety announcement associated with your place, a blue notification will appear.

Select places in the management area to set up the locations you care about.

You will know when someone sends you an alert, a report, or even updates their Facebook status.

Use the dashboard to send and receive alerts.

When someone sends an alert to you, a notification appears on your dashboard, the alerts pops up on your computer, and you can reply right there.
當有人發出提醒給你，一份通知會出現在您的Vine視窗，提醒彈出在您電腦桌面上，並可以加以回應。
If you prefer receiving text messages, you can send and receive alerts on your mobile phone.
如果您願意接收文字信息，您可以透過手機發送和接收提醒訊息。
If you prefer using e-mail you can send and receive through e-mail.
如果您喜歡使用電子郵件，您可以通過電子郵件發送和接收訊息。
You define how you want to receive alerts using the Vitals management area.

You define who can send alerts to you in the people management area.

Then, when you need to reach people quickly, you can send them an alert from your dashboard.

Or send a text message to the group using the assigned shortcode.

You can also send an e-mail message to the group using the assigned e-mail address.

Use the dashboard to post reports.

Just click on reports, decide what information you want to share and who needs to receive it.

Then the information is sent directly to their personal dashboard.

There are four types of reports in the Microsoft Vine Beta.

When someone has sent you a report, you will see a green notification on the dashboard.

Click on the icon to access information.

When you are done, close the report and it will be saved in your people history.
